Combining bold visual statements with thoughtfully juxtaposing materials and finishes, Natasha Baradaran collection is handmade in Los Angeles and consists of casegoods, upholstery, and lighting complementing Baradaran’s vision for stylish and integrally created designs.
In 2014, Baradaran forayed into product design with her namesake furniture collection. Inspired by a lifelong passion for the craft of jewelry making, the 10-piece capsule collection explores forms that take cues from the vocabulary of fine jewelry.
In 2016, Baradaran released CURVA - A second collection celebrating Italian Mid-Century design. Raised between Los Angeles and Milan, the Italian zest for life, the attitude, colors, and timeless style have continued to be a constant source of inspiration for a life well lived. Baradaran sites the Italian phrase "Dolce Far Niente " - the sweetness of doing nothing and the sheer indulgence of enjoying the moment, as one of the sources of inspiration for her second collection.
For Baradaran, her collections work together in a playful juxtaposition of sharp angles and curvaceous lines. Materials such as brass and walnut, and finishes such as goatskin, high-gloss lacquer, as well as Baradaran’s signature “Gilver” leaf and hand-hammered “Ostrich” finishes, combined with comfortable upholstered pieces, create the perfect hybrid of SoCal comfort and Italian style.
